Market Day in the City

Thrifters rejoice – Saturday 29th March is a big one! With TWO exceptional markets in the city, you’d be crazy to miss this opportunity for some absolute second-hand gold.

Burnett Foundation and Nifty are running a large Flea Market and have included the large carpark of Naylor Love opposite the Te Toka Centre (284 Cashel Street), as well as Nifty back carpark. And Boo.Teek at Boxed Quarter is filling the lanes with stalls – from independent artists, crafters, to vintage sellers, and more.

We’re excited to partner with BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ and the British Council to bring you once again Five Films For Freedom.

Every March, five short films made by filmmakers from around the world are selected from BFI: Flare’s festival programme and made available online for an exclusive period of 12 days.

Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū and Otautahi Christchurch Pride are excited to  share those global LGBTQIA+ stories with you on Wednesday 26 March.

This year, one of the chosen films is from New Zealand!!

A fresh look...

You might have noticed some changes around here… We've always loved our old logo—it’s been a big part of our story. But as our community grows and evolves, we felt it was time for a fresh look. Our new logo reflects where we are now and the vibrant, diverse community we’re proud to be a part of. While we honor the past, we’re moving forward to keep things relevant and true to who we are today.
